Client Solutions Consultant

As a Client Solutions Consultant, you will be a part of the Ontech sales team, which will allow you the opportunity to be face to face with our clients to learn what they desire with their strategies, IT enhancements, infrastructure goals, and business requirements in the near and long term as they relate to IT. We will provide you the freedom to take established clients, evaluate their network needs, and craft solutions. This role will enable you to be creative and be the bridge between our clients, the technicians and the sales teams.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in IT field with an understanding of a SMB network and it’s functions and processes.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in face to face customer relations with commercial business accounts. Must be comfortable talking with key decision makers within our EXISTING client base regarding network pro activeness, security, business continuity, and other areas of the network.
  • 3-5 years Project Management experience, coordinating communication and schedules between clients and our Technical support teams.
  • Skills or Certs: Project management, Client Relations, Microsoft, Office 365, SonicWall, Datto, Network Security, Azure, Managed Services, etc.
  • Time Management, Organization, Prioritization, and Communication skills a must!

Day to Day:

  • Work Schedule: Normal Business Hours: M-F 8-5pm, mixture of time at office and at client sites. During Project season, on site client meetings could be as high as 50/50 (client site vs office).
  • Conduct Annual and Semi-Annual meetings with existing client base reviewing network.
  • Project Management – scheduling, progress calls/meetings, driving internal organization within our Project Management software.
  • Base Network design and sales engineering assistance.
  • Work within our CRM & quoting tool to assist in product recommendations, Scope of Work creation, etc.

IT Technician – SMB Consulting Experience Required

$55,000 – $70,000 a year

Ontech is rapidly growing and looking for an experienced Technical Consultant to manage the growing needs and demands of our diverse client base. This position will have immediate client support needs ranging from VMWare projects, Server 2019 migrations, Azure, Security Assessments, and Office 365 migrations.

As a Technical Consultant, you will work directly w clients assisting with product selection, installation, configuration, troubleshooting and maintaining a wide variety of network hardware and licensing solutions, managed services, cloud services and projects. Qualified individuals will not only have technical expertise and a strong background with hands-on network administration but will also possess a high level of organizational, communication, and customer service skills. A high level of professionalism is expected.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • In person, on premise consulting Milwaukee based SMB’s: targeting CEO, CFO, CIO’s, and other C – level executives
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills is a must

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Must be able to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Regular travel to clients in SE Wisconsin required. Must have reliable transportation and insurance.
  • Ongoing training and certification is required.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum 3-5 years of consulting experience highly preferred
  • Current experience with Microsoft Windows Server, Exchange, Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Azure, VMWare, SonicWALL, HP, Datto, Storage Craft, and others.
  • Current industry certifications, such as: MCITP, MCSE, MCSA, CCNA, CCNP, VCP, VCAP and others are a plus
  • Direct client facing consulting experience is a must
  • Migrating to and/or supporting public and/or private cloud infrastructure
  • Supporting VPN and other site-to-site networking
